About me

All of my pieces are thrown on my pottery wheel from my studio near Tongue in the Scottish Highlands.

I love the notion that anything I make can be used day-to-day and enjoyed in its final home, with the owner feeling a connection to hand-made item - really this is my inspiration.

I’m very fortunate to have lived in two beautiful places; The Peak District where I am from, and have spent most of my life so far, and the far north coast of mainland Scotland, where I moved in 2025. I am undeniably inspired every day, both in the studio and in general life. The colour palette I use is a reflection of this and the landscape and seascape on my doorstep.

As well as making pots, I am busy renovating the crofters cottage that I share with my partner and two dogs. We are carrying out all of the work ourselves, from repointing, rebuilding walls, plumbing, plastering and everything in between. I also work as a gardener and help out friends at Timber Tunnel.
